One to watch: If Diplock’s pedigree susggests anything it’s that he will perform strongly at this level.

Club comment: ‘We can challenge for the title,” said Kruger.

PT prediction: Serious title contenders.

CASTOR

Cambs Division Two

Captain: Reece Smith.

Ins: No-one, although apparent 2020 loan signings Marcus Papworth and Connor Parnell have signed on permanently.

Outs: Aiden Steels.

One to watch: ‘Stu Dockerill. Sets the tone with the ball every week, and he’s getting better and better with the bat down the order,’ said Smith,

Club comment: “If we can carry on after a good 2020, who knows? It looks a strong league, but top half minimum for us,”said Smith.

PT prediction: Mid-table.

MARCH TOWN

Cambs Division One

Captain: Andrew Wright

Ins: David Haslegrave.

One to watch: ‘Andrew George showed his class in a half season last year. I expect runs from him this season. He’s also one of the top ‘keepers in the league,’ said Wright.

Club comment: ‘We are aiming for top 4 especially with the return of all-rounder Saranga Rajaguru,’ Wright.

PT prediction: Play-off possibles.

MARKET DEEPING

Lincs Premier Division

Captain: James Hook

Ins: Zeeshan Manzoor, Meli Adatia, Ali Sharpe.

One to watch: Manzoor struggled at Northants Premier Division level, but he might enjoy the small boundaries on his latest home ground.

Club comment: ‘Mid-table is the aim,” said Hook.

PT prediction: Bottom half.

OUNDLE TOWN

Northants Premier Division

Captain: Mark Hodgson

Ins: Possible overseas batsman.

Outs: Dan Robinson (injured, one month).

One to watch: Conor Craig is a dashing all-round talent with bat and ball as well as a star fielder. He’s always exciting to watch.

Club comment: ‘I’m confident we will be right up there,” said Hodgson.

PT prediction: Fifth.

PETERBOROUGH TOWN

Northants Premier Division

Captain: David Clarke

Ins: No-one

Outs: Mohammed Danyaal

One to watch: ‘Josh Smith has been top class for two seasons, but he’s still improving,’ said Clarke.

Club prediction: ‘The hat-trick is on!” said Clarke

STAMFORD TOWN

Cambs Division One

Captain: Tom Williams.

Ins: Vamshi Parvathaneni, Lewis Spice, Zak Chappell (hopefully on an occasional basis!).

One to watch: Zak Chappell is far too good for the Cambs League, but skipper Williams believes Tim Juggins could shine. ‘He always raises his game gainst the top teams. He will have a big season with bat and ball,” said Williams.

Club comment: ‘We are confident we can finish mid-table if we play to our best,” said Williams.

PT prediction: A struggle ahead unless Chappell really does turn up.

UFFORD PARK

Cambs Division Two.

Captain: Joe Harrington

Ins: No-one, but a hope the Agnew brothers will be play more often.

One to watch: ‘Harry Stephenson has been working hard on his game and we’re looking for some big performance sfrom him with bat and ball,’ said Harrington.

Club prediction: Harrington is confident of a top-half finish.

PT prediction: Bottom half finish.

WISBECH TOWN

Cambs Division One.

Captain: James Williams

Ins: Josh Bowers
