Castor Cricket Club veteran plays his 1000th game for the club

Nigel King played his 1000th game for Castor Cricket Club yesterday (September 4).

King, who travels from Derby to matches these days, made 42 as Castor seconds beat Belton Park seconds by 18 runs in South Lincs Division Two.

Only Bruce Pell had previously reached 1000 games for the club, although Norman Gray should pass the milestone next season.
