Outstanding teenager Harrison Burrows became ‘a man’ tonight according to the Peterborough United manager and an injury update on Joe Ward
The 19 year-old was sent on as a substitute in place of Idris Kanu with Posh 1-0 down with just over half an hour remaining and helped transform a crucial contest.
Posh switched to a 4-4-2 formation when Burrows was introduced.

“It was a tough game for a young player, but Harrison was outstanding. We had to change formation and with Harrison and Siriki Dembele out wide it enabled Sammie Szmodics to play closer to Jonson Clarke-Harris.
“We finished the game very strongly.”
Szmodics scored twice, both created by Clarke-Harris.
First-choice right wing-back Joe Ward missed tonight’s game with a thigh problem. He will definitely miss Saturday’s League One trip to Ipswich Town and probably won’t return until the game at Shrewsbury on January 30.
