LADIES FOOTBALL: Wins for Northern Star and Posh
It was a good day for the city's top two ladies teams yesterday (September 30).
Peterborough Northern Star won 1-0 at home against AFC Dunstable to move up to fifth place in the East Region Women’s League Premier Division thanks to a goal by substitute Vicky Gallagher while Peterborough United Ladies were 6-3 winners away to Boston United in the East Midlands League Cup.
Their goalscorers were Tash Applegate (2), Keir Perkins, Stacey McConville, Jess Driscoll and Megan Parrett.
