Simples! Peterborough's Compare the Market is on the right track with 18th anniversary celebration at Silverstone

​A leading insurance comparison website in Peterborough was on the right track with its 18th anniversary celebrations at the Silverstone motor racing circuit.

Staff at Compare the Market, based in Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, enjoyed an evening at the Silverstone F1 motor racing track where the pit garages where transformed into a dance floor, with well-known DJ Jax Jones making a star appearance.

The celebrations were overseen by speaker and author, Jim Lawless, who gave an inspiring speech on understanding your potential in your career and life by taking risks.

Staff were also able to recognise and thank their peers for their work through the ‘Meerkat Awards’.

Mark Bailie, chief executive of Compare the Market, which is famous for its marketing campaign that stars Aleksandr and Sergei meerkats, said: “Thanks to our colleagues’ hard work and dedication, Compare the Market has been made the much-loved brand it is today.

"This 18th celebration gives us an opportunity to both reflect on our past achievements, and for us all to look forward to the next chapter.
