Plans have been submitted to convert a former garage in Whittlesey into seven homes.

TUP Properties wants to build two, three-bedroom bungalows and five, three-bedroom terraced homes at land adjacent to 2 Crescent Road.

The site already has planning approval for three homes and has been cleared in readiness for development.

A planning application submitted to Fenland District Council by Peter Humphrey Associated Ltd states: “The applicant is a local developer who is well-known locally for his high quality domestic builds.

“It is therefore anticipated that this development will be a high quality proposal once complete.”

It adds: “The proposal would provide seven more affordable three-bed units for the local area in a sustainable location.”

The application will now be considered by the council’s planning department.
