Peterborough MP Paul Bristow is leading a campaign to recognise Peterborough Heroes doing fantastic work in the community during the coronavirus crisis.

The MP wants to give recognition to all those doing their bit and going the extra mile to support others in the city during the lockdown.

Backed by the Peterborough Telegraph he is appealing for our readers to nominate people they think deserve recognition for what they are doing.

“The people of Peterborough come in different shapes and sizes - come from different parts of the world - and even speak different languages. But we are one city - and we have proved that again.

“There’s some who think this spirit is not what it once was.

“But the coronavirus emergency has shown this spirit is not only alive and well - it is stronger than ever.

The winners will be given a tour of the House of Commons and afternoon tea with Paul Bristow when coronavirus restrictions are finally lifted.Winners will be decided by the judges - Paul Bristow MP and Mark Edwards, Editor of the Peterborough Telegraph.
