Fire crews are dealing with a house fire in London Road, Peterborough.
The fire started at the property, which is located between Silver Street and Park Street in Woodston,
A large amount of smoke has spread across the area.
Residents spoke of hearing bangs as the fire started.
A Cambridegshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “There is a derelict building fire on London Road, Fletton. We were called at 2.46pm.
“Dogsthorpe and Yaxley crews are currently in attendance.”
Residents are asked to avoid the area.
