Two people have been charged after police executed a drugs warrant at a property near Peterborough.

On Friday (16 December) a joint warrant between the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) and the National Crime Agency (NCA) was carried out at a property in Straight Drove, Farcet.

Ken Nguyen, 25, and Phu Nguyen 24, both of Straight Drove, have been charged with production of cannabis.

Officers recovered a large quantity of what are believed to be cannabis plants.

The two men were subsequently arrested and charged. They have been remanded in custody ahead of a further court appearance at Peterborough Crown Court on January 15 2018.
