Two people have been charged in connection with a burglary at the Queensgate branch of Boots The Chemist.

Nicole Forbes, (30), and William Thornton (44) were both arrested on Saturday in connection with the burglary.

Forbes, of no fixed abode has since been charged with non-dwelling burglary including theft of toiletries worth £55 and has been remanded in custody.

Thornton, of Padholme Road, has been charged with two counts of non-dwelling burglaries including theft of toiletries worth £225 and possession of class B drugs.

Both were due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (27 July).
