Thief smashes way into Hampton takeaway to steal from charity
A callous thief has stole a charity tin from Churchill's Chip Shop in Hampton in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday June 22.
At about 12:30am a man wearing a black hooded top used bricks to smash the front door of the property in Stewartby Avenue before stealing the charity tin.
He then made off on a bicycle.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious should call police on 101.
