Police have issued a warning to drivers of keyless cars following a number of thefts.

Lincolnshire police said two cars had been stolen in the Deeping St James area this week. A spokesman for the police said: “If you own a keyless entry vehicle then consider a Faraday Bag, keeping keys away from the house exterior, using a separate immobiliser and a Tracker.”

Lincolnshire police also shared a diagram of how keyless car thieves are able to bypass the security system.

Anyone with information about the car thefts should contact police on 101.
