Peterborough man charged after police pursuit in city left four officers injured

A man has been charged following a police pursuit in Peterborough on Saturday (8 August).

The incident happened in Lincoln Road at about 4.07pm and resulted in a collision between a blue Ford Focus and two separate police vehicles.

Cameron Wallis, 20, of St Pauls Street, Peterborough has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.

He has been remanded to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (10 August).

A woman was also initially arrested but was released with no further action.

Four police officers suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision.
