A man has been charged with carrying a kitchen knife on a train at Peterborough Station yesterday afternoon.

Ju Ca (22) of Othello Close in Hartford, was charged with travelling on the railway without paying a fare and possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, March 23).

His case has now been adjourned until Monday.
