Arsonists destroy van in broad daylight
Arsonists destroyed a van in Eye, Peterborough yesterday, Monday March 14.
One crew from Dogsthorpe was called to the blaze in Thorney Road at around 2.18pm and found a van well alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 3.20pm.
The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
