Looking Back: ‘How Peterborough scene has changed’

The wonderful picture of a majestic goods train has been kindly supplied by Peterborough Telegraph reader Leslie Thomas.

It shows Teardrop lake in Hampton photographed in the 1970s.

In the background you can see the brick chimmneys.

Leslie also sent in a picture of the same area as it looks today.

In the background now you can see some of the many homes that have been built.
