Coronavirus: No new deaths at Peterborough City Hospital but jump in positive tests

No more people with coronavirus have died at hospitals run by the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.

The latest daily figures from NHS England show that the number of Covid-19 patients to have died at Peterborough City Hospital or Hinchingbrooke Hospital has remained at 130.

However, new government figures show the number of people to have tested positive for the virus in Peterborough has risen from 265 to 278.

The figures are 843 in Cambridgeshire, 896 in Lincolnshire and 1,072 in Northamptonshire.

Across the UK, there have been a further 649 Covid-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 30,076.
